It took us years of tears, sweat, and a lot of failures just to master the field we’re in.
If you feel that you can’t handle those unnecessary thoughts in your head on your own and find it hard for you to cope with some stressful events in your life, seek emotional support from your loved ones, friends, and professionals who can handle cases like that.
As I said, learning when to ask for help is a strength, not a weakness.
But if you happen to carry yourself well enough and be able to do your daily routine with ease but are still bothered with your anxious mind, you can try several things to divert your attention.

Dealing with anxiety requires self-awareness. You need to know what are the things that make you anxious and be able to know your triggers.

Normally, we can control our anxious minds by diverting our attention toward something that can calm us.
We can withdraw for a while a do things like, watching movies, eating our favorite meals, going for a walk, scheduling a short vacation, meditation, and playing puzzles like Sudoku.
All of which have one thing in common – focus.
Focusing on one thing that we truly enjoy breaks our minds from too many constraints brought about thinking too much negativity and stress.
Among those examples I mentioned, what worked for me is going for a walk and playing Sudoku.
Walking around our neighborhood gives me a breather to see the blue sky, feel the breeze of fresh air, hear the sounds of the flapping branches of trees, and most of all the warmth of the sun.
Playing Sudoku, on the other hand, helps me explore my subconscious and engage myself in some self-talk and assess what I really feel and think.
It helped me know myself on a deeper level which I often neglect because of my busy schedule.
Sudoku doesn’t only help alleviate my stress but also helped me reconnect to my inner self.
I came to realize what I really wanted and whatnot, what are my strengths and weaknesses, and to understand all the why’s I blabber from the events I find so stressful.

It sounds silly but when you’re on the edge of desperation to stop those nonsense noises on your mind, you’ll try anything just to make yourself feel in control.
